I report to the Office of the Provost under the department of Institutional Space Planning and Management (ISPM) and oversee the management of five interdisciplinary campus research buildings. In addition to overseeing building operations in the Bioengineering Facility (IQ) and the Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building (ISTB), my responsibilities also include leading a team of facility professionals whose role is to ensure all of the research facilities managed on behalf of the provost are properly maintained and equipped to support the research needs of multiple departments and colleges. I also serve as the department liaison with the IQ administrative team as well as our campus partners. I joined the ISPM department in 2012 after serving twenty-four years in various management positions within the Residence Education and Housing Services division. I graduated from MSU in 1987 with a BA from the School of Hospitality Business.
