About

I have received my PhD in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), India in 2016. After completion of my PhD, I worked for two years as a Research Associate at Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), India where I got the training in structural biology. In 2018, I moved to USA and worked as a Postdoc Research Fellow in the University of North Dakota (UND) where I worked on genomics and epigenetics. In 2021 I joined Advanced Molecular and Cellular Imaging group at IQ-MSU as a Research Associate.

I am a molecular microbiologist by training. I use cutting edge molecular biology, genomic, proteomic and imaging tools to understand the underlying mechanism of complex biological system.  I have interest in drug discovery, molecular imaging, cell therapy, regenerative medicine and protein engineering. I have specialized in high-throughput screening, genome editing (CRISPR-Cas) and development of stable cell line by viral transduction

I love music and sports. I am a huge fan of cricket and soccer. I like travelling to places of natural beauty.
