aBOUT

Keri is a Research Assistant for Dr. Brian Johnson. Her role is to assist in coordination of laboratory research, which includes conducting experiments, collecting data, analyzing data, preparing reports and maintaining laboratory records. She assists both undergraduate and graduate students working in the lab as well as supporting collaborations with other investigators across campus.

She received her M.S. in Comparative Medicine and Integrative Biology from Michigan State University, with a previous B.S. from the University of Wisconsin. Keri is a State of Michigan licensed Veterinary Technician, as well as a certified Research Technologist with the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science. Her work has taken her through many research projects throughout campus, which has allowed her to acquire over 20 journal publications and the cover photo of the April 2011 Journal of Orthopaedic Research. When I ‘m not in IQ, I enjoy reading, art and traveling.
