Fernando Aguate is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, working with Dr. de los Campos’s group. He received his PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the National University of Cordoba (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba) in Argentina. He has conducted research that involves applying statistical models to biological studies and is currently focusing on plant breeding and multi-environment trials. He currently has a part-time dedication to research and also works in the private sector. His hobbies include learning languages, playing the guitar, and doing outdoor activities (cycling, hiking, gardening, or barbecuing) whenever the weather permits.
