Ali Mohebi, PhD, Postdoctoral Scholar, Department of Neurology, University of California, San Francisco

Ali has a broad interest in science, technology, philosophy and the newly emerging fields at the intersect of these investigation tools. He graduated with a doctoral degree in electrical and computer engineering from Michigan State University in 2014. He then joined the University of Michigan department of psychology as a postdoctoral fellow to study brain functions involved in decision making. In 2016 he moved to the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) department of neurology and has been studying the role of dopamine in learning and motivation in the laboratory of Prof. Berke. His main research interests involve circuitlevel investigation of brain mechanism responsible for the cognitive control of behavior in dynamic environments.
