Christian Farrar, PhD, Assistant Professor, Radiology, Harvard Medical School

CFarrar Seminar Flyer Christian Farrar received a B.S. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University. He performed postdoctoral training at the MIT Francis Bitter Magnet Laboratory and at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Assistant in Neuroscience at Massachusetts General Hospital. Chris’ research is focused on the development of novel magnetic resonance molecular imaging methods and contrast agents (http://farrarlab.martinos.org). Recent efforts in his lab have focused on the development of rapid and quantitative Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF) methods for imaging oncolytic virotherapy and stroke.
