Dr. Steven Arnoczky, Professor Emeritus, MSU

Innovators: A Fireside Chat is a series established to provide the broad MSU Community with the opportunity to learn from top health technology leaders and innovators through a short presentation and one-on-one conversation. The series is affiliated with BioDesignIQ, a new entrepreneurial course launched to instruct how to uncover clinical needs and address them by inventing new medical technologies.

A leader in translational research, Dr. Steven Arnoczky was inducted into the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Hall of Fame, amongst a host of other awards. He is currently holds the title of Professor Emeritus at MSU.  In the inaugural session of the series, Dr Arnoczky will describe his entry into translational research, and the story of how he identified and focused on clinical needs to change the standard of care in Orthopaedic practice. A moderated chat on his career and current consulting role for new Orthopaedic companies will follow his talk.
