Alexa completed her PhD in Biostatistics in 2024 under the mentorship of Drs. Vazquez and de los Campos in the Quantgen Group. She is now continuing her work with the Quantgen Group as a postdoctoral researcher. Alexa’s research interests include quantitative genetics, computational statistics, epidemiology, and machine learning. Currently, she is focusing on cross-ancestry polygenic risk scores.
